I began boxing in 1997 for the cardiovascular workout. I learned traditional boxing and JKD (Bruce Lee’s boxing style). I developed a passion for the sport, as well as the utmost respect for fighters during that time. I decided to compete after a year of consistent training and became a Golden Gloves Champion in 1998. Throughout the years, I continued training and sparring to keep my hand-eye coordination sharp while continuing to learn hand movements in Philipino Martial Arts. I made the decision to begin training others in 2003 and officially became a certified trainer. If you’re interested in a great weight-loss workout program, learning self defense tactics, or if your a competitive amateur/pro boxer who’s interested in learning to incorporate martial art techniques into boxing, it would be my pleasure to train you.
